Had a fantastic Father’s Day weekend! Jake and I went riding at the track Saturday. Then we worked on his bikes getting them ready for Mammoth this week. Tyler drove me up to the Palomar Observatory on Sunday, which was really cool. We got Julian pie on the way home. Kristin got crabcakes and filets for dinner. My life has been, and continues to be…AWESOME!

Tyler is finished with spring football practice. They have a few weeks off before summer practice starts. Getting close to taking his driver test in July. Happy when he can drive himself to/from practices 😊. We have been getting some riding in, and Jake is getting more comfortable on his 450. Hard to believe he graduates this week!
Jake had to replace the air conditioning evaporator in his
truck before the summer heat.

It’s been a bit since the last update. Just normal stuff since our vacation. Jake is doing great with his college classes and the same with Tyler in High School. Jake’s been killing it with his little helper business when he is not in school, doing homework or riding his dirt bike. Tyler is still the Recycling King of our neighborhood and has been doing workouts a couple days a week with his rugby coach and a few rugby buddy’s. He participated in a football big man challenge the other weekend and had a great time showing off his strength. Jake bought a used 450 dirt bike in mint condition. Last weekend, he did the final Mammoth qualification races and not only qualified for all the classes he wanted but did pretty good too. We even found a little time to celebrate Mother’s Day.

Our Costa Rica adventure was AMAZING? The compound we stayed at was awesome, with dogs, cats, wild pigs, macaws, iguana’s and monkeys running around. Riding around the jungle was breathtaking, with a track winding through a mango orchard and riding down the beach taking the cake. We had a blast white water rafting and Jake caught a huge rooster fish. And we discovered Tyler is absolute natural on a horse.
