Another fun summer weekend.

Another jam-packed weekend. Saturday we went around the lake to feed the ducks. Saturday night Jake and Tyler went to a pizza party and Kristin and I went to dinner and a movie. Sunday, Kristin and I went out on the lake to try and work on our wake boarding muscles for our trip coming up in Sept. One of Jake’s preschool ladies watched the boys. Tonight we went to a concert in the park with some friends that live in our complex.

Kristin and the boys are back and it’s good to have everybody home. Tyler has grown and developed so much in four weeks. He has a full head of teeth and is pulling himself up with ease. He is incredibly fast on his knees and it’s like trying to dress a greased pig to try and change or put clothes on the boy. He also is able to eat more regular food and feed himself better. Jake is just as “high energy” as ever. The first thing he wants to do is go flying, and how can I resist that.

Jake is having the time of his life in Idaho with his cousins and Grandma Isakson. I’m getting a little lonely down in San Diego all by myself. Looking forward to Kristin and the boys getting home Saturday.

Kristin & the boys are in Idaho for a few weeks. I was supposed to go to Fallon for work but the trip got canceled after we bought the plane tickets. It works out because I have my final paper for college to finish. Jake was supper excited to go and we made the mistake of telling him a few days ago, so all we heard since was how he was ready to go to the airport to see his cousins Cody & Conner. They made the trip fine and Kristin said the boys were really good.

Happy 4th
We went to Home Depot Saturday and then Kristin and I took Jake to his first movie “Cars 2”. He did pretty well, we made it through the whole thing. There were a lot of previews and Jake keep saying “where are the race cars?” Sunday we went to the pool and we had Tyler’s first birthday party later that afternoon. He officially turns 1 on Thursday… time flies! Today Kristin took Jake to Presley’s to go swimming, then we BBQ’ed at our house and Jake and I went up the hill behind our house to watch the city fireworks.

Summer is here and it’s been great outside. Jake and I went flying on Friday. Kristin took him over to Presley’s to go swimming today and she barely could get him out of the water to come home. Tyler is motoring around on his knees pretty well and we are working on the standing. He is drinking whole mike now so no more formula. Jake is a good big brother always looking out for him.
