Happy Easter!

Had a great Easter. The boys are doing great and are winding down from the sugar rush. Tyler LIKES CHOCOLATE!! Jake got a motorcycle helmet from the Easter bunny and we took his motorcycle to the park for a ride. He is a natural. The Ceglies came over and we had a nice Easter dinner.

Jake has his pedal bike just about mastered. He made me take off his training wheels this week. Still just a little too short to get started off or stopped without crashing, so he just keeps pedaling. Ty has started his terrible two’s a little early. His new nick name is “Whine Box”. Hopefully we get through this stage quickly!
Last week was my last week on active duty. Now I'. officially retired from the Navy.

Not much new to report. Here is some more pictures.

Kristin & Jake are back from Disney Land. They had a great time with her family. Jake did not want to go back to school last Friday after spending the whole week at Disney Land with his cousins. This weekend was pretty slow since in rained the whole time. At least it didn’t rain last weekend.

We took the boys up to Disney Land and met Grandma Gretchen, Uncle Pete, Aunt Kelly and the cousins there. Tyler and I came back Sunday evening. Kristin and Jake are staying till Thursday. Jake is having a blast, mostly because he is with his cousin’s.



Jake was not a big fan of “Mr. Toads Wild Ride”! He stuck pretty close to me as you can see.


Uncle Pete drew the short straw and had to ride in the monkey cage with all the Monkeys.

Awesome weekend. The weather was great. We did the Home Depot work shop Saturday morning. Took the boys to a park so Jake could ride his motorcycle ALL BY HIMSELF. He did pretty well. He is still learning the concept of STOPPING, and that he doesn’t need to be FULL THROTTLE the whole time. I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree on that one.

I got up early to go mountain biking Sunday morning. Got dressed and went back in our room to give Kristin a kiss good-bye, and another fellow had already crawled into my place in the bed!
