Kristin and I are feeling much better. Jake and I went to a Padres game Thursday night. His favorite thing about baseball games is getting cracker-jacks. Today we went to a friend's birthday at a three story indoor jungle gym which was a huge hit with the boys. Jake starts kindergarten on Wednesday.

Didn't do much this weekend. I'm getting over a sinus infection and a cold for Kristin. Tyler has regressed a bit at school since Jake left and started ESS. We thought he would be happy to not have big brother tackling him on the play ground anymore but maybe he misses not getting to see Jake throughout the day. It also could be some "terrible three's" kicking in. Kristin and I had to go in and meet with his teacher. To think he used to be the "good one"!

Jake had off school Thursday and Friday, so Friday he and I went to the beach. We had such a good time we all went back on Sunday. Our good friends the Cobbs were in town and came over for dinner Friday night. Jake and I took them for an aerial tour of San Diego on Saturday.

These boys have a rough life! Saturday we all went and saw Despicable Me 2 at the movies then went and had Jakes favorite meal... sushi. Jake and I camped out in the backyard Saturday night. Sunday we washed the cars... well, I washed the cars and the boys sprayed each other with the hose which segued into the slip-n-slide on the front lawn, followed by dinner and swimming at the Ceglies.

We went to Poway park to ride the train and Tyler fell back on a retaining wall and got a little gash on the back of his head. He was pretty tough through the whole ordeal. We went to the ER and he got a couple staples to close it up which he was not a big fan of. He's doing great now and we'll get the staples out in a little over a week.

Jake was concerned that this brother was broken and we might have to get a new one.

We had Tyler's birthday party this weekend over our good friends the Ceglies. It was warm so all the kids really enjoyed their pool. Presley came over today and her and Jake played on the slip-n-slide to keep cool. Kristin heads to Oklahoma to visit a friend this week, so the boys and I will be holding down the fort next weekend.
