Summer is just about here. Last week of school for the boys.
Jake finished up baseball Saturday. Unfortunately they didn't make it far in the
playoffs but he and his teammates really put up a fight for some close games.
Tyler has one more game on Tuesday and his team party afterwards. It's getting
warmer so we set up our pool in the backyard and the boys went swimming in it
and at Presley's over the weekend. Jake met his reading goals this month so he
picked going to Chuck-E-Cheese's for his reward and he wanted to take Presley
with him.

Happy Memorial Day!
Jake and Kristin went on a date to dinner and the school
dance on Friday. Tyler and I did the park. Jake had back to back races Sunday
afternoon and Monday morning at Perris so we stayed the night in a hotel near
the track. He had a blast hanging with his race buddy Mason and they even had a
"hotel sleep over". Jake did great racing. The track changed and there
is a big double that he got up the courage to jump. He crashed on it late Sunday
but came back and did it on Monday. It takes a lot of guts to come back and
face something that you are afraid of. I'm so proud of him for not quitting. They had a nice memorial service and all the
racers rode a parade lap with flags on their helmets. While we were racing
Kristin took Tyler on a date to dinner and bowling. Tyler got a strike on his
first throw (with bumpers).
Ty's art work
Ty just randomly feel asleep on the floor, so Dungey just laid down beside him. He is such a good dog.
Mommy-Son date night
Refueling after a day of racing with pizza and air hockey with his buddy Mason
Mommy-other-Son date night
We had to keep the dirt bike in our hotel room. Jake obviously thought that was pretty cool.

The boys are excited that summertime is almost here! They
took Presley out for sushi Friday for her birthday. Saturday Ty played T-ball and Jake raced. He had a few spills in
practice but did pretty well bouncing back. He and his friend Mason did the
buddy race. It's a relay race with one bike,
they each alternate racing for 4 laps and on the 5th lap they
rode double. It was all for fun so Jake did very well taking it easy with his
buddy on the back. They had fun and it was cute to watch.
