Merry Christmas!

We all had a great Christmas with Grandma Gretchen and our friends.

Only one more week till Christmas. Jake and Tyler are excited but it has been hard to be really good for a whole month. Their elf Clyde even stayed at the North Pole for a couple days because the boys weren't listening very well. He wrote them a note saying he is going to give them one more chance and I'll have to say their behavior has improved after that. We went with friends to the candy cane lane neighborhood this week. Just about every house in the neighborhood goes over the top decorating their house. Grandma Gretchen flew in Friday. Kristin immediately put her to work wrapping presents. She watched both boys play soccer this weekend. Below is the picture the boys took with Santa and our family pictures we took a couple weeks ago.

Not many pictures this week. We had a stomach virus hit all the boys in the house... Dungey last week, Jake Wednesday, Tyler Friday and me today. Pray Momma doesn't get it or we are all in trouble! Tyler bucked it up Saturday morning and they both took their Karate exam for their next belts. Both did well and we find out this week if they passed. Jake started his next league soccer season Saturday night and Tyler has his soccer skills class Sunday morning. One more week of school until winter vacation.

The boys saw Santa Wednesday. There wasn't allot of people waiting so this Santa had a lot of time to interact with the boys. He had Tyler pegged! Tyler got a character award during the Friday flag ceremony at his school today, which is pretty cool because our kids are usually "end of the year" for character awards. Most kids when they get their certificate quietly go sit down...not our Tyler! You would of though he just won gold at the Olympics! Luckily the character trait for the award was not modesty. They made picture ornaments for the tree at Lowes and Jake had his last soccer game for this session and his team won the championship. Jake raced at the famous Glen Helen race track on Sunday with his buddy Mason.

We had a nice time in Maryland celebrating Thanksgiving with family. The boys had a blast at Zava Zone obstacle park and riding Pap pap's 4-wheeler.
