Jake had his spring break this last week. He got to go to
the beach and hang with his buddy Maddox. We got Tyler's baseball pictures back
and they a pretty cute. Jake moved up to the next age bracket with soccer. With
his birthday being at the very end of December he is the youngest and one of
the smallest kids on the field now. I think it is going to be good and help him
improve playing with older kids on his new team. He had a race today and podiumed
for the first time on his 65 with a third place. Tyler went to watch our friend
and neighbor Ellie and her cheer competition today (so glad I have boys!!!)

Kristin and I met Tyler at school for lunch on Friday. Jake
went to a birthday party on Saturday so Tyler and I took Kristin on a hike near our house. Tyler did great and this is the first hike he didn't complain on and he
even wanted to go further. Took Jake mountain biking and he really pushed
himself climbing the steep hills.

We survived a few days without Mommy while she was on a work
trip. The boys were a big help, even helped me make lunches and breakfast. It was a busy week. The boys were awarded
their next belt in Karate. Tyler got the game ball in baseball. It's funny to
watch him strut up to the plate like Babe Ruth. The elementary school had the country
fair on Friday, which is always a big hit. And Jake had a race today and he did
very well. No podium positions yet but he is improving tremendously against stacked
gates of 25-30 kids.

The boys are enjoying the sun going down later and getting
in some outside playtime after school. Kristin is out of town for a few days on
business this week, so just the boys, Dungey and I holding down the fort.

Jake getting in a few swings
Tyler helping me after I planted a tree in our back yard
Evening ride
Tyler helping Mommy make cookies, and yes, he is still checking out cook-books from the library for the past couple months! His favorite part is definitely taste testing!

Happy St Patrick's Day! That leprechaun evaded the boys trap
again and messed up the living room.
Maybe next year they will catch him. Tyler is doing great with baseball. So
good that he is getting a little cocky when he walks up to the plate. He's
telling everyone he is going to hit it to the moon! A regular little Babe Ruth!
