Kristin is on her way back from a business trip and then we are off on our family camping trip to Yosemite. This week I was able to have lunch with Tyler at school.

These boys live the life! Friday Jake went to a school friends going away party at the trampoline warehouse and In-n-Out, then he brought another school friend back to our house to ride bikes with other neighborhood kids and Tyler. Saturday morning, they meet friends at the skate park to ride scooters and then we made homemade pizza for dinner. Sunday Jake raced with his buddy Masson. He did awesome!! He got 1st place over all in his two 85 classes and got a couple 1^st place moto’s with a sweet hole shot on one. I thought it would take him a while to get used to his big 85, but he looks more comfortable on it than his much smaller 65. Kristin is off tomorrow for another week of work travel. The boys were great last week and have been really helpful while she is gone.

The weather was fantastic this weekend. We went riding at the local track Saturday with Jake’s school buddy. Afterwards we got ice cream which we haven’t done in a while. Saturday night we went to a neighbor’s for BBQ and watch Supercross on their home theater. Tyler went to a friend’s birthday party today and Jake enjoyed the nice day outside with neighborhood friends. Kristin is off on another work trip this week so it's just the boys and I.

Finally a weekend away from the track. Saturday, we took Dungey to the town park for Pets in the Park and that night we had friends over for a BBQ. Sunday the boys took their scooters to the skate park. Tyler overcame his fear and dropped into the big bowl for the first time. This afternoon Jake and I took our neighbor Trent on a mountain bike ride.

Another racing weekend. Jake raced and Tyler and I camped at Fox Raceway with Jake & Tyler’s friends, Nolan, Jarrett, Mason and Jake’s best school friend Hunter. Jake did great and won 1^st, 2^nd, and a 3^rd in his three classes. Tyler did some riding too and is getting faster and more comfortable on the 65. Kristin is on a work trip for a couple days and I’m home this week. Hopefully all our work travel will slow down soon.

Jake had a snow (soap foam) day at school last week, it looked like a lot of fun. It was rainy on Saturday so I took the boys to the local trampoline warehouse. I wish we had stuff like that when I was a kid! With all the rain I thought (hoped) Jake’s race today would get canceled, but it didn’t. It was a little sloppy in the morning but the track wasn’t too bad by the end of the day. Jake did awesome! He is really getting comfortable on that big 85. Kristin is off on another work trip to Canada for a couple days and then I have one at the end of the week for a couple days.

 Tyler is the only person I know that can run two iPad at the same time!
