Momma is back home after two back to back week log business trips. We (especially me) are happy she is back this week. Boys are doing good with soccer. Tyler is known as “THE WALL” at goalie since he rarely lets anything get through his goal. He was chosen as player of the game this week. Jake had two races this weekend. It was a rough race weekend. Bad starts and crashes in front of him made for bad races Saturday. Sunday, he started off great. He was crushing the track with some huge and technical jumps but then had a pretty nice crash ending up with a deep bruised thigh and twisted handlebars. He is fine but we decided to call it quits a little early and head home. We had a great time camping at the track and Tyler had fun on the practice track.

We had a birthday this week, Dungey turned 4 years old. The boys blew out his candle for him but he got to eat his dog ice cream. Jake’s buddy Mason invited us to go watch the Red Bull Straight Rhythm race Saturday in Pomona and we invited him to go mountain biking at the Snow Summit Ski Resort in Big Bear Sunday. The race and mountain biking were both fantastic? Mason and Jake are just as awesome on mountain bikes as they are on motorcycles. Tyler hung out and went swimming with our neighbor Trent Saturday and then went to his buddy’s birthday party Sunday. Great weekend!

I’m back from a trip to Maryland all last week. I went out for work and then added a few vacation days to see my family. Tyler had an assignment at school to draw a picture of himself of what he wants to be when he grows up. He wants to be an engineer. He was supposed to finish it in class but he wanted more time to work on it so he brought it home. We thought it was amazing the amount of detail he put into it. Jake moved up to the next 85 class in motorcycle racing. He races on the big tracks now and with really fast and mostly older kids. He did great at his first one and is learning a lot. It’s crazy to see him flying around the track as it gets so rough and rutted.

 Lots of kids!!

Fox raceway put up lights for night riding over the weekend. We met some friends there to do some night riding and camping Friday night. Red Bull put on a mini Straight Rhythm race for the kids on electric bikes that the boys really enjoyed. We met Tyler’s teachers for his Individual Education Program plan. He is doing great in school and the teachers had MANY funny stories about Tyler to tell us.

Kristin had a work trip a couple days this week. We got a new bed and they boys wanted to try it out when she was gone. They and Dungey approve. On Saturday, we went to Old Town for Mexican food at Fred's. They have a dog menu so Dungey got to come along for lunch too. Had neighborhood friends over Saturday night and then went to a neighborhood BBQ and swimming Sunday.

They can play nice together every once in a while!

Dungey was not pulling that wagon!

We went camping at the beach one last time this season. We tried another spot and it was awesome. We all had a great time, even Dungey. A Marine unit brought their amphibious vehicles to the beach and the boys got a kick out of checking those out.
