Back from a two-week work trip to Sicily. While I was gone, Tyler had his Rugby end of season get together. Jake and I met some of his friends for a race this weekend up near Palmdale. Jake did awesome! Two second places and 2^nd in the series in one of his classes.

Been slacking on taking pictures and getting them on the blog. Not too much going on but normal life with two teenage boys. We did get Momma to come skiing with us a few weeks ago. Tyler’s rugby season is finished, he had his final tournament over the weekend up in Temecula.  Jake’s been working quite a bit helping people with yard work. He’s built up a nice client base, works weekends and some days after school. I’m in Sicily for a couple weeks for work.

Tyler went to a school dance with friends.

Tyler is doing great with rugby. He practices a couple nights a week and goes to a gym one night each week to work out with his team. He had a great game over the weekend. With his mouth guard, he has the best facial expression when he goes all out. We were supposed to camp and Jake race this weekend, but the rain we got this week wreaked havoc on the track, and it got canceled. Jake was able to make some money doing yard work over the weekend in the mornings and was able to get some riding in at his friend Hunter’s house on Saturday afternoon. Sunday afternoon, the boys helped me move rocks in our back yard to put down new weed barrier.

Getting caught up on the blog with a busy January. Jake has been busy with wrestling and racing. He went to one of his race series’ awards dinners and picked up his first-place trophy’s in both his classes he competed in. He also went to the San Diego supercross with some friends. Tyler has been busy with Rugby and went to Universal Studios with a neighborhood friend. The boys had off Monday, so I took off and we went skiing.

We have another licensed driver in the house! I think Kristn and I are even happier since we are off the hook for driving him to/from practices. Tyler had his first Rugby tournament of the season. The boys and I did a little riding today.
