Another weekend of rugby and racing. Tyler’s team is undefeated so far this season. Jake went to Supercross with some buddies, then raced the next day. Hopefully we all are over our colds for the year.

Tyler got his first “Try” (goal) in rugby on Saturday. He was pretty pumped!! The boys and I went riding together on Sunday. Took some pictures to blow up into posters for their rooms. Jake helped Tyler get over a pretty nice jump, which he was also really pumped for!!

Christmas break is sadly over. Tyler’s rugby team had a scrimmage on Saturday. They look pretty good and should have a great season. Jake had his first race of 2025 on Sunday. Packed gates! 38 racers in one of his classes.

Hard to believe Jake is 17! We went out to the desert on his birthday and camped/rode with friends for a few days. Then back in time for Mom’s birthday and New Years. Low key New Years for us, had a couple friends over, we did not make it to midnight. Jake went to a friend’s house with other friends from school.

We had a very merry Christmas. The Ceglie's came over Christmas Eve. Now that the boys are older, it's nice to sleep in a little on Christmas morning. Tyler already got his big Christmas present (new dirt bike) a month ago, but he got some more cool stuff. Jake got the PS5 he has been wanting.

Jake is officially done with football for the year. He got pulled up to the Varsity team to help prep during the playoffs and got to dress for the playoff games. They won the California Interscholastic Federation championship for their division but were eliminated one game before the final state playoff game. With that done, he is now able to do wrestling practice. Tyler has been doing rugby practice a few nights a week with his team getting ready for the season that starts in January. Took Jake to the awards ceremony for the race series he just finished. The venue at Blackmore Ranch was very cool. He got 2^nd in both classes he raced. The boys met friends at Fox for some riding Sunday. Both are happy to get a couple weeks off school over the Christmas break.

Happy Thanksgiving

    We did Thanksgiving at home this year and some friends joined us. We met some other friends out in the desert on Saturday to ride. Tyler is doing awesome on his new bike! Sunday, we decorated for Christmas and the boys did some bike maintenance.
