Fun weekend. Jake and I went to the Coronado Speed Festival on the base I work. Helicopters, Airplanes and Race cars all in one place… Jake was in heaven. It was pretty hot this weekend. We spent quite a bit of time in the pool. Tyler is getting big. It’s tough to remember how small he was a couple months ago.

It’s good to have everybody home. Jake had a great time at Grandma’s and playing with his cousins. The boys have grown a bunch in just 3 weeks. We had to pad Tyler’s car seat before he left… we don’t have to do that anymore. Jake couldn’t climb up on some of the play ground things at our local McDonalds before he left… now he scurries up them like a little monkey.

I'm on the island for a week. Kristin, Jake and Ty are up in Idaho until the 18th. Kristin sent me some pics for the blog.

We had a good time in Idaho. I just got back today. Kristin, Jake and Tyler are still there with Grandma Isakson until the Sept 18. I had a nice birthday. We rented a plane and flew around the Palouse, very pretty. Jake is having a blast with his cousins Cody & Conner, and Tyler is getting lots of quality Grandma time.

A few more days and we head up to Idaho to see Grandma, Cody and Connor.

Good week. Still getting used to the lack of sleep and learning to get it whenever we can. Jake asked to go number two for the first time and went. We made a huge deal about it. We go up to Idaho in a couple weeks and we hope being around the older cousins will help him get it down.

Everybody is doing great. Ty is doing awesome. Eating and sleeping a lot and fussing very little. He got circumcised this week and didn’t cry at all during the procedure. Jake is doing great and adjusting very well to sharing Mommies and Daddies attention with someone else. I’ve been on leave this week so Jake and I have been doing some fun things. We went to Sea World on Thursday, the beach on Friday, Gymnastics on Saturday and of course our usual trips to the nearby park or to throw rocks in the lake by our house. Kristin is doing well too and is just about all healed up.
