Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a good turkey day. We just had dinner here at our house. Our good friends Vito, Diane and their son Christian joined us.

We took the boys to meet Santa today. Jake asked him for a bike. We’ll see if he has been good enough to get it, I think he might be looking at stocking full of coal Christmas morning.

Tough weekend for Mommy. I had school both days and it was rainy all weekend. She was a trooper and even managed to take both grocery shopping.

Tyler is becoming quite the little jabber box, must have got that from his Mother.

Jake’s new thing is when he is mad at us he puts himself in time-out.

Tyler had his 4 month check-up this week and all is well. He weighs 15.2 pounds! He is a little chunk. He still is a really good baby. He sleeps through the night now and that is AWESOME!

Jake is as ornery as ever. He has figured out how to pull out the drawers on his dresser and climb up it to get the stuff on his shelf. We scold him for doing it but I have to admit, I’m a little proud.

Till next week...

We had a good week and weekend. Walt and Monica came over for dinner on Saturday night. Sunday, Jake and I went flying and then we met Kristin and Tyler for lunch. Jake got a haircut tonight and was as good as gold for the first time ever.
Ty has his 4 month appointment tomorrow. We are pretty sure he is meeting his weigh mark… and then some!

We had a great Halloween. Jake definitely knew what to do this year… Ring the door bell and say “Trick or Treat”. He even managed to say “you’re welcome” (that what he says instead of thank you) and “Happy Halloween” a few times after he got candy. He even has his priorities straight, he tripped a couple times and never let go of his candy container. He did drop it once however… we came to a decorated house with a bucket full of candy saying “Please take 2, we are out” next to a stuffed gorilla. Jake went to get his candy and there was a man in the gorilla suit that came alive… Jake dropped his bucket and hauled A$$ off the porch. I thought I was going to pee myself!
He and little Presley were adorable and they had a great time.

So many houses, so little time!

I had hernia surgery last Tuesday, so I have been laid up since then. I’m feeling better now, the first few days were a doozy.

The boys are going great. Hard to believe we have two boys. Tyler is growing like crazy, which makes sense he eats like crazy. He is almost out of his 3-6 months clothes. Jake is doing great to, active as ever. Kristin took him to meet his little girlfriend Presley at the pumpkin patch near our house today.

No Fear!
