Jake and I went to the Ramona airport open house this weekend. We took his mustang and he wore his flight suit. He pretty much stole the show. We got swarmed with news people wanting to take his picture. He got to meet a couple Tuskegee P-51 pilots and they really liked his plane.
Jake and I are excited to come out to Maryland later this week and see all our family and friends.

Jake and I went camping... in the back yard.

The advantage of camping in the back yard is having electricity to watch movies.

There was a P-51 that had
the same paint scheme as Jake's.

Our second favorite plane... the Corsair.

A gentlemen I work with at Northrop fly's this plane.

Jake got to get a closer look.

Kristin took Jake to Disney Land with Maria, Presley and Payton while Tyler and I held the fort down here. They stayed at the resort hotel so they got an early jump on the parks. Jake loved the new Cars land.

The doctor wanted us to get Tyler's hearing checked since his speech is delayed. He had to be asleep for the hearing test, so we were suppose to only let him sleep for 4 hours the night before and he wasn't allowed anything to eat the morning off the test. We thought we were going to have a little bear on our hands but he was amazingly good and he passed his hearing test with flying colors. So we just have to work on getting him to use his words. We are already seeing him trying more now that he is in pre-school.

All is well here. The house is coming together and we unpacked the last box Saturday. We had our house warming party the same day so guess there was the motivation. The boys are doing pretty good except for  Tyler keeps getting accident reports every week from school where he has bumped his head or something. He took a spill Saturday night and has some fresh scrapes on his nose. He's not very coordinated, but he's tough.

Today we went to a birthday party at the bounce warehouse and Ty was able to crawl his way up most of the stuff all by himself now, and of course he has no fear going down any of the slides. It's fun to watch them go.

Nice long weekend. We are still knocking out little projects around the house. In the process of getting one thing done we seem to find some more. I guess that what comes with owning a house.
The boys are doing well. We have a nice little park in our neighborhood we go to. We went back to our old neighborhood to visit some friends and go to the pool. Tyler starts speech therapy this week. So far his only words are Momma, Dadda, Bye and NO!

I was painting and got distracting for a second and my little helper Tyler found my wet paint brush and though he'd help and keep painting for me (the white on the tan wall behind him is his work). He was very proud.

We are getting settled into the new house and only have a couple more boxes to unpack. We have been busy pretty solid for the last few weeks pack, moving unpacking, cleaning, painting and fixing lots of little things. Our new place is nice and has lots of room. The boys love it and their new daycare. They both go to the same place right on my way to work about 10 minutes from our house. They both transitioned really well and haven't missed a beat.

Our last week in our condo. We move to our new house on Saturday. We have been packing up and our house is full of boxes. We took a break from packing and went wake boarding with Walt and Monica Saturday. Saturday night Jake and I went to a Padres game. He did pretty well for his first game, although he was a little disappointed we didn’t get a foul ball, maybe next time. This morning the boys went to the pool and after naps we went to the beach. We didn’t stay to long; the ocean is a little too cold for our boys who have become spoiled with a hot tub and heated pool.
