The boys had a dentist appointment last week and they did great. Jake has a loose tooth, not from another one coming up, but from some sort of "trauma". I definitely can believe that the way he and Tyler wrestle... and Tyler is pretty tough. The weather has been great all week and the solar cover has the pool warmed up to 80 degrees so the boys are loving that. Jake had a race on Friday and took second. It's fun to see him getting better every time.

Busy week with both Kristin and I traveling. I chaperoned for Jake's class on a fieldtrip to Sea World last week. I haven't ridden in a school bus in a long, long time. I remember the seats being bigger! We had fun and I managed to somehow not lose any of the kids under my charge. Jake had a T-ball game on Wednesday. He got a couple outs, hit two doubles and got the game ball. Sunday Jake and I went ridding at the track and Tyler and Kristin spent some quality time together. Memorial Day we just relaxed and BBQ'ed at home while the boys played in the pool.

I just sleep in the boy's room when Kristin is gone.

We are safe from all the wildfire going on around the county. The boys did get a couple days off school because of them just as a precaution. Jake and Ty's cousins get snow days off school, while Jake and Ty get fire days. The winds have calmed down and it's supposed to be fairly cool here next week.
Jake had another race Friday evening. Again not so great out of the gate but again he was able to move up through the pack to take third overall. Saturday morning all the mommies got to coach Jake's T-ball game. Kristin was the head coach and it was a great opportunity for me to take some pictures.
Kristin just left today for a couple days on business. She'll be back Tuesday, then I head out Wednesday till Friday for work. The boys don't mind because we let them sleep with us whenever one of us goes out of town.

(and us) to keep cool this summer.
Needless to say that it is a huge hit with Jake and Tyler.
