Super busy week! Tyler went to Biz Town on Monday and Kristin chaperoned. Tyler got to see a little about what adult working life is like. It was a really cool experience for both him and Kristin. Jake had high school orientation on Tuesday. He is definitely moving from a very small pond to a huge lake next year. Both boys started spring flag football and had their first games on Friday. Jake got to quarterback for a few plays. Jake and I raced on Saturday at our local track. The boys and I camped there Saturday night and rode a little today.
Enjoying life. We took the boys and Dungey to lunch and to play frisbee golf in Balboa Park for the first time on Saturday. Sunday, Jake and I raced (my first track race) at State Fair for the last race of the series. Kristin and Tyler had a lunch date. Tomorrow Tyler goes to work for a school field trip tomorrow and Kristin in chaperoning.
Both boys flag football teams won their championship brackets Friday night. The games were great and both boys did awesome. Jake and I took Tyler on a legit mountain bike ride Saturday morning. He did well and didn’t complain about the climb out… that much 😊 Jake had a race Sunday. Not a huge turnout but Jake was able to clear every jump on the expert track, and there were some big ones!
The boys’ cousin Kendall, came down to San Diego for a gymnastics meet over the weekend. Grandma Gretchan came also and stayed with us. Grandma got to watch the boys flag football games and ride their dirt bikes.
