We had a great visit with Pawpaw George. He headed back to Maryland today. Tyler was at 6^th grade camp all week. Jake and I took Pawpaw camping in the desert over the weekend.

Pawpaw George is visiting with us for a couple weeks. He turns 82 today and he wanted to try skydiving, so Jake and I took him to Lake Elsinore Saturday. We took our bikes and he got to watch Jake ride before his jump. Afterwards he got to watch Tyler’s rugby game in Temecula. Sunday, we all went for a hike up Mt Woodson to potato chip rock.

Jake raced his 250 for the first time this weekend. He and I camped with some friends. Tyler had a rugby match on Saturday, so Kristin and he stayed back and spent the weekend together.

The boys had off school Monday, so I took the day off work, and we went skiing. Great day? Wasn’t crowded and we got some fresh snow. It was cold and our San Diego boys definitely aren't used to being cold! Both boys had friends’ birthday parties over the weekend. Tyler went to an escape room on Friday evening and Jake went to a hockey game/sleep over Saturday evening. Jake and I also got some riding in on Saturday.

Tyler and I have been enjoying the 3D printer he got for Christmas. He designed and printed some specialized hooks for his headphones and VR set. We been designing and making model rockets that can carry a GOPRO camera. Haven’t had much success yet, but that’s part of the learning process. Jake has been busy with soccer and Tyler with Rugby. Tyler had a match up in Orange County on Saturday, after that we met some friends at a fun center up by Magic Mountain for Jake to get his 1^st place trophy for the race series he did at the end of the year. Since we were there, we got a hotel and went to Magic Mountain the next day. Kristin was a trooper as she had just came back late Friday from a business trip and then hop in a car and spend the weekend up North. She is a great Mama!

Lots of sports this weekend. Jake’s soccer team won on Friday. Tyler had his first Rugby scrimmage on Saturday. Kristin and I are slowly starting to figure out how Rugby is played. Took the boys riding on Sunday. Jake got to sport his new graphics on his bike and Tyler his new gear.
