I’m back from my 4-week work trip to Sicily. Kristin did an awesome job getting the boys to/from their football practices/games, motocross race, and jobs. The boys are doing great in football. Jake asked a friend to go to his homecoming on the USS Midway Museum.

 First day of school. Jake 10th, Tyler 7th.

In the full swing of football for the boys. Jake had a scrimmage on Friday. We spent the last weekend before school starts, camping at the beach with friends.

 

Fall football started this week for both boys. Over the weekend we loaded up Jake’s bike in his truck and he drove us to the track so he could get a ride in.

Met a bunch of friends at Fiesta Island to play on Mission Bay for the day.

Awesome, Awesome trip to the east coast. Flew into Pennsylvania to spend a fun day with the boy’s bonus Grandma; bowling, go-carting, BBQing and swimming. Met my brother and his son at the Breezewood track just south of there so they all could ride together for the first time. The next day we celebrated the life of Paw Paw VanSant with family and friends in Maryland. The boys got to crab for the first time with Uncle Mark and Aunt Gale at their bay house with Paw Paw George. The last day we took the metro to DC to see the Washington Monument, White House and visit the Smithsonian Natural and American history museums.
