Jake raced the last couple weekends and his girlfriend, Sophia, was able to camp with us. Last weekends was the final Mammoth qualifier and he did very well, especially with the temp getting up to 100°. Qualified in 3 additional classes while picking up some hardware along the way. Kristin joined us at the track on Mother’s Day (she is a GREAT MAMA!), and we got home that evening to celebrate it with Tyler as well. Both boys have been working hard doing yard work for people, and Tyler’s recycling business is going great!

This was a first for all of us!

Boys had a fun spring break. Jake went to Vegas to celebrate his buddy’s birthday. He got to ride in a sports car. Tyler and I went to the San Diego Air and Space Museum. Took the boys and some friends go-carting. Jake and his girlfriend did some mountain biking. We celebrated Easter with the Ames.

Tyler has been lifting 3 nights a week for the last few weeks, with our friend Matt who is a personal trainer. Jake’s new girlfriend Sophia, camped with us for the Cal Classic he raced at Pala over the weekend. Kristin and Tyler went to see the Minecraft movie.

Catching up on some pictures from this month. Kristin, Tyler and I rode our bikes to the farmers market for lunch. Tyler went to 9^th grade orientation at the high school. We still can fit all of us in our bed for snuggle time! Met some friends to ride with at Pala on Sunday.

Tyler’s rugby team lost their playoff game, but it was a really close, back and forth game. Tyler played amazing and always took on the biggest player of the other team. His team had their end of season party by mission bay. Afterwards we went to watch the professional San Diego Legions rugby team play. The boys and I have been riding quite a bit. Jake got a new dirt bike. He’ll hang on to his old one till after Mammoth so we can have a spare.

Tyler’s rugby team dominated again this weekend. He was going to miss so we could all go desert camping over the weekend, but we changed plans a little so he could go. He and Kristin met us out in the desert after his match. His coach told us that he has so happy Tyler could make it because of his leadership on the field. He was also featured on their league post, which was really cool. They have playoffs this Saturday. We had a good time camping/riding with friends. Jake went with some buddies to a hockey game Sunday night. The boys have off this week, so I took them skiing on Tuesday. We brough some snow home to have a snowball fight in the front yard. Jake had his wisdom teeth pulled Wednesday and was really funny coming off anesthesia. He gave the cute dental assistant girl a hug as he was leaving, LOL!
