We officially have a five year old in our house now. Jake had a little party at school. We went to Red Robin for dinner followed by presents, ice-cream & mommy made Captain America cake. This weekend we are going to have a party at the park by our house with more of his little friends.

Tyler reaping the benefits of having
a brother with a birthday.

He loves his new motorcycle boots.
He wanted to sleep with them on.

Mommy made him a Captain America cake.
Merry Christmas
We had a good Christmas. The boys did pretty well with Santa this year, probably a little better then they deserve, but I guess Santa is getting pretty lenient these days. Jake got a new bike and Santa made Tyler a train table and both the boys a play set for the back yard.

Grandma Isakson flew down to spend Christmas and birthdays with us.

Going for a night ride to look at houses decorated with Christmas lights in our neighborhood.

The boys had their Christmas program Thursday, and they both did great. Jake did especially awesome considering last year he had complete stage fright. He knew most of the songs and had the routines down. Ty did pretty good to, both where cute as can be.

I got the Christmas lights up. I had off Friday, so I got a lot done on the boys play set Santa is bringing them on Christmas. I have it in pieces hiding under a tarp on the side of the house. We are going to have to get better at hiding stuff as they get older.
We went to the Poway park for a Christmas festival Saturday and rode the old train, petted animals, ate Christmas cookies and listened to carolers sing. Today we rode motorcycles and went to a new park we haven't been to yet.
Kristin heads out of town tomorrow for business but she'll be back late Tuesday. Jake saw her suitcase and asked where she was going. She explained that she had to go away for a couple days for work. Jake said she can't go because it would break his heart.   : (

We went to see Santa today with the Ceglies. The boys really liked Santa, Jake asked for a Mustang airplane and Ty wants a motorcycle helmet (I love having boys)!

Jake getting some flight time in on the sim. He's getting pretty good.
