Fun weekend. Jake & Tyler started soccer on Saturday. We went to Poway lake Saturday evening and today we went to Legoland.

My trip to Florida went well and now Kristin goes to Florida this week for work. At least we are not gone at the same time.

Well Tyler has his two wheeler down. He learned how to ride a bike before he learned to talk or get potty trained. He gets a lot of looks cruising around the neighborhood.

It was a great weather this weekend. In addition to lots of bike riding we went to the Conte’s to go swimming. Jake and Maddox were fish as usual, but now Tyler has no fear of jumping in too.

Today we went for lunch at Red Robin and to the Poway park. I head to Jacksonville, Florida tomorrow for a few days for work. Jake has already claimed he gets my spot in our bed while I’m gone.

Jake and Kristin went up to Idaho to help Grandma Gretchen pick out her new kitchen that is getting remodeled. Jake is of course having a blast with his cousins.

Tyler and I have been bonding this weekend. I took him for his first flying lesson today. He loved it. He was super excited when he saw all the airplanes.

After flying we got lunch at Hooters, since kids eat free on Sundays, that's the only reason. The first thing Tyler did when he walked through the door is start blowing kisses at all the waitresses. He had them all eating out of his hand by the time we left.

 

Kristin filled in as assistant coach for Cody and Connors baseball team, and Jake got to practice with them.

I'm sure he's just trying to read her name tag.

I got out to the desert for some dirt bike riding on Saturday. The boys aren't quite big enough to go so they stayed back with Mommy. I can't wait till they can start coming with me. One of Kristin's old friends is in town and came over for dinner on Sunday. They have two sons as well and all the boys had fun playing. We got the fire pit going and made s'mores.

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter and have enough candy and sweets to last us until Halloween at least. We went to the Poway Egg hunt with Maddox on Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon the Ceglies came over and the kids hunted for more eggs and colored some eggs. The Easter bunny brought the boys Easter baskets and presents on Easter morning. Sunday afternoon we went over to the Conte's for Easter dinner, another egg hunt and for a swim in the pool. The boys didn't put up much of a fight going to bed Sunday night after such a fun and busy weekend.
