We had a nice long weekend. Jake’s buddy Hunter was in town and spent the night with us Friday and then Jake spent the night with him Sunday. They went mountain biking and riding pit bikes at his house. Tyler met up with friends at the trampoline warehouse Friday night and then he and I went riding Sunday.

I was looking forward to finally having a weekend with no motorcycles, but then we found out about a race at one of our favorite tracks just for kids and couldn’t pass it up. So, we met some friends there for some camping and racing. Great memories the boys will have for a lifetime!

Jake did Soccer try-out's for the Poway team. Out of 40 boys he got a call back for a second try-out. He was the only kid there with a motocross shirt on :)

 We had a great week and weekend here in the VanSant household. Took the boys to mini ride night Thursday. Tyler had fun and Jake got some practice in on the track he raced on Sunday. I’m not a huge fan of this track because there is a HUGE jump that makes my butt pucker every time Jake jumps it. He makes it look easy though. Saturday, we took a family bike ride around Coronado. It was a little cloudy making it nice and cool and a perfect day for it. Jake did awesome today at his race. It was the last race of the series and he finishes 1^st for the day and 1^st for the series championship in one class and 2^nd for the series in his other class.

We went riding Saturday at our local track. The boys did an awesome job treating Kristin to a great Mother’s Day. We made her a nice breakfast, then we went for hike at Tory Pines, followed by a steak dinner at home. She is the best Mother and totally worth it.

The boys helped me with yard work on Saturday. Another race for Jake on Sunday. He did awesome and pulled off a first place in one of his classes. I loaded a game Tyler wanted on our home computer, I now have to request time to use it from him.

Went I get out of bed in the morning, my spot gets filled pretty quickly.
