I’m back from a trip to Maryland all last week. I went out for work and then added a few vacation days to see my family. Tyler had an assignment at school to draw a picture of himself of what he wants to be when he grows up. He wants to be an engineer. He was supposed to finish it in class but he wanted more time to work on it so he brought it home. We thought it was amazing the amount of detail he put into it. Jake moved up to the next 85 class in motorcycle racing. He races on the big tracks now and with really fast and mostly older kids. He did great at his first one and is learning a lot. It’s crazy to see him flying around the track as it gets so rough and rutted.

 Lots of kids!!

Fox raceway put up lights for night riding over the weekend. We met some friends there to do some night riding and camping Friday night. Red Bull put on a mini Straight Rhythm race for the kids on electric bikes that the boys really enjoyed. We met Tyler’s teachers for his Individual Education Program plan. He is doing great in school and the teachers had MANY funny stories about Tyler to tell us.

Kristin had a work trip a couple days this week. We got a new bed and they boys wanted to try it out when she was gone. They and Dungey approve. On Saturday, we went to Old Town for Mexican food at Fred's. They have a dog menu so Dungey got to come along for lunch too. Had neighborhood friends over Saturday night and then went to a neighborhood BBQ and swimming Sunday.

Dungey wanted to come drop Tyler off at school

They can play nice together every once in a while!

Dungey was not pulling that wagon!

We went camping at the beach one last time this season. We tried another spot and it was awesome. We all had a great time, even Dungey. A Marine unit brought their amphibious vehicles to the beach and the boys got a kick out of checking those out.

Jake started 6th grade last week. He was a little nervous because he thought it was going to be much harder, but so far he thinks it's pretty easy. He had a race Sunday. It was hot but he did awesome. Tyler hung out with his buddy from school and our neighbor came over with her new grandson and Tyler got to help. Took it easy on Labor Day, the boys just had some neighborhood friends over to swim.

And I celebrated another birthday
