We have a 16-year-old in the house!! We celebrated Jake birthday by going to lunch at Red Robin and Jake took a few of his buddies to race go-carts, then back to our house for pizza and donut cake. The boys and I are headed to the desert over Kristin’s birthday and for some strange reason she doesn’t want to spend it camping, so we celebrated a little early and went out for sushi.

We had a great Christmas! Grandma Gretch came to spend it with us and Jake’s birthday. The Ceglie’s came over Christmas eve to play some pool. Tyler got a new gaming computer and Jake got a new stereo for his truck. One of the other gifts the boys got for Christmas was a ping pong top for the pool table. They had fun playing with Grandma, she’s pretty good!

Busy end of the year. Wrestling has been going well for Jake and Tyler started back with Rugby practice. Jake has been racing quite a bit and podium all four classes in the two race series he competed in. Pretty good for first year on a big bike. Tyler went to his school winter dance, he looked good and had a great time. We all have been fighting off colds at different times. Hopefully we are all heathy for when Grandma Gretchen comes to visit this week.

Jake had his football banquet. He had a race up north and one of his old buddies that moved up that way came to visit him. We got the house and tree decorated. Tyler has been raking in the dough with his recycling business.

 Had a great Thanksgiving in the desert with friends.

Jake has been racing quite a bit the last few weeks since football is over. We did the Elsinore Grand Prix on Saturday, and a bunch of his friends stayed the night and went to the races at Barona on Sunday. He has been doing all the driving, it’s nice to have a chauffeur! Tyler had his football end-of-season get-together on Sunday. He got to hang out with his teammates, and they had cool individual posters made for each of the boys.
