Met a bunch of friends at Fiesta Island to play on Mission Bay for the day.

Awesome, Awesome trip to the east coast. Flew into Pennsylvania to spend a fun day with the boy’s bonus Grandma; bowling, go-carting, BBQing and swimming. Met my brother and his son at the Breezewood track just south of there so they all could ride together for the first time. The next day we celebrated the life of Paw Paw VanSant with family and friends in Maryland. The boys got to crab for the first time with Uncle Mark and Aunt Gale at their bay house with Paw Paw George. The last day we took the metro to DC to see the Washington Monument, White House and visit the Smithsonian Natural and American history museums.   

The boy’s summer of fun continues. With a break from football for a couple weeks, one of Jake’s buddies stayed with us for a couple days. I took them, another friend and Tyler to race go-carts, swimming at the community pool, the trampoline warehouse and Jake’s buddy gave him a Jujutsu lesson.

The boys are having an outstanding summer so far. Jake bought his first vehicle. It’s a great little truck perfect for hauling around his dirt bike/mountain bike. Took the boys and a friend to Sea World on Tuesday. We camped at the beach over the weekend. Tyler had his last rugby tournament for the summer near where we camped. One of Jake’s buddies from his old school was in town and was able to join us at the beach on Saturday.  The boys have a couple weeks off before football starts back up, so they are enjoying the summer.

Another teenager in the house! We celebrated Tyler’s 13^th birthday over the weekend. He got new big wheels for his dirt bike and a new trampoline. Took both boys indoor skydiving and then our traditional birthday dinner at Red Robin. Saturday, Jake raced while Tyler and I went riding. This was Jake’s first race back since he hurt his shoulder. Not so great on his starts, which was expected, but he improved significantly each moto and had a great time hanging out with buds. Tyler took a couple friends to an escape room for his birthday Sunday. It was pretty neat, and they all had fun.
