Back from my work trip to Maryland and playing in the snow. Ty had tee ball prep class and then went to meet his coach and teammates for his first season playing tee ball in the Poway American Little League. His team is the Athletics. Jake made minor B and will be playing for the Astro's.

Jake had the first of 8 races for the 2016 Moto X Kidz spring series Saturday afternoon. He moved up to the next class so he's racing faster kids. He had a small crash in the first moto but with a first in the 2nd moto was able to finish 2nd in his class as well in the open class overall.

Today after Jake's finished working with his reading coach we went to our friends' Walt and Monica's for sushi that Walt just caught on a fishing trip. We took Dungey to play with their dogs. The boys like having Dungey ride in the car with them. At the rate Dungey is growing we are not sure how much longer he is going to fit on the seat between them.

Jake was featured in a San Diego Union Tribune Article for his racing helping his reading.

Kind of a mellow weekend which was very welcome from our busy last week. The boys had sports Saturday morning. Jake is kids of a bruiser when it comes to soccer. He just bowls kids over going for the ball. I had to tell him to make sure he stops and helps people up if he makes someone fall down. The coach tossed some pitches to Tyler and he hit just about every one, which is surprising since I mostly just practice the tee with him. He starts tee-ball at the beginning of next month. Today I took the boys to the skate park. Tyler is definitely getting braver dropping in. Jake is fearless as per usual.

Sorry, I'm catching up from last week and just getting over a cold. The boys had a great visit with Pap-Pap and Miss Alice. We went to the Safari Park, U.S.S Midway museum and watched Jake's race. They left Sunny San Diego for a blizzard back in Maryland!

Jake's awards ceremony for last seasons race series. He got 1st in his class and 2nd in the open class. He needed Tyler to help carry his trophies.

We all had a great time at Supercross. Jake had the experience of a lifetime. He got to meet his hero Ryan Dungy and got basically treated like a real Supercross racer for a day. The next morning he asked us if he was dreaming that he really got to be in Supercross?

#35 Chris Alldredge taking the time to give Jake some pointers.

He had a bike personalized for him

Even the stand had his name on it!

He'll appreciate this pic when he is older!

 Ready for practice!

The whoops were crazy steep and tall!
