Took Jake to the Mini Majors race last week. We took one of his buddies and his Dad met up with us on the weekend. They both had fun hanging out, riding bikes and the pit bikes. The organizers rented out the local BMX track and the boys had fun on that. Jake had a couple good crashes pushing a little too hard, but thankfully was ok. He managed to stay consistent in one of his classes and kept it on two wheels to get a 4^th overall in a class of 37 racers. Kristin and Tyler went to spend the night with the other half of the family that was racing with us, that were housesitting a house on the beach. Theirs was probably a little more relaxing weekend, swimming in the ocean and playing with their kittens.

Not too much this week. Took the boys to mini night at State Fair MX Thursday. Jake has a big race there this weekend. The boys did recycling to make money to spend on iTunes/PlayStation. Other than that, just relaxing in the pool and at home.

The first full week of school is in the books and so far, not so bad. We had a fun weekend camping at the beach with our good friends the Ames's.

The boys started school last week. Jake’s first day was at home, but he is now going into school. Tyler is doing it from home. Took the boys to ride mini night Thursday. We had a relaxing Labor Day weekend. Beating the heat swimming in the pool and went to the beach at Coronado.
