Happy Thanksgiving!
The boys had a great Thanksgiving break. We have switched gears and are getting ready for Christmas. We got our house decorated and our Christmas tree up. The boys helped me refinish a "Buddy Bench" our neighbors donated to their school.
We found a puppy to adopt. He needs to get checked out by the vet but we should be able to bring him home tomorrow or Tuesday. The boys decided on the name Dungey (after their favorite motocross racer Ryan Dungey).

Having fun with the Ceglie girls on their break from school

The boys don't appreciate Thanksgiving dinner as much as we do. They would be happy with chicken nuggets!

Clyde the elf on the shelf is back from the North Pole ready to report back to Santa how "good" the boys are behaving.

Unfortunately Zoe the dog was not as good with kids as we had hoped. She became very possessive of Kristin and would nip at the boys when they would get close to her. We called a couple of dog behaviorist and they said at her age it would be almost impossible to break her of that and that she would never be fully comfortable around the boys. So she went back to her original owner and we are probably going to have to get a puppy that can grow up being around our boys.
Other than that Jake started soccer and Tyler started a T-ball fundamentals class this weekend. We plan to try Tyler out with T-ball in the spring. They and Kristin have off this week.

We have a new family member... Zoe! We've been wanting a dog for a while but wanted to wait till the boys were ready and could help out with its care. She is one and a half, German shepherd/pointer mix. We got her from a very nice lady near our neighborhood who didn't have the time to give her the exercise she needs, Jake and Tyler will definitely take care of that. She is a little skittish right now but very friendly and the boys love her. Welcome to the family Zoe!

Kristin took Tyler to the Lowe's build and grow work shop. They made a car and it looks great!

Jake raced the 3rd round of the race series he's in. He had a pretty good crash but is ok. He did awesome in his other moto's and still got 3rd overall in his class. He also managed to hold onto the point lead in his class and is 2nd in the open class. I asked him if he wanted to rest after his crash but he wanted to get back out on the track and race...proud Daddy moment!

I love having boys. We had a blast riding at the track together.
