Pretty low-key weekend. Jake had a race Sunday, but after practice he said his hand was hurting. I gave him some Advil, but it didn’t get better. Come to find out he sprained it pretty bad at last weekend's race but didn’t tell anyone. So he just rode a little slower for the race and Kristin took him to get checked out Monday. Luckily just a bad sprain and not broken. Tyler and Kristin stayed home Sunday and “attempted” to make cake pops. They may not look like the ones you get at Starbucks, but they taste good : )

I’m back from a short business trip. Kristin took the boys out for sushi for Valentine's Day. The boys and I camped and rode at the track with Jake's buddy Mason and his family. There was a Yamaha try out at the track Saturday. Jake tried out the Yamaha 65, 85 and even the big 125. Thankfully we have few years before he is ready for that. Kristin came up to watch Tyler ride and Jake race Sunday.

Tyler is very happy to have his Nintendo Switch back. He had a bad week at school the other week and lost his privilege. He did great at school last week and earned it back.

We challenged Tyler to reach 100 miles this year with the schools running club. Last year he barely made 50. We are proud to report that he is already well past 50 and tracking to easily pass 100 before school is out. The boys and I went riding Saturday. It’s been a while since I went and my body is feeling it today. It was rainy today so a good day to just relaxed at home.

Kristin headed off on another work trip for the week. Yesterday the boys went to a friend’s birthday to race go carts. Today we went for a hike at a local trail to potato chip rock.
