I am back from a week long business trip. Tyler's last library book choice was a dessert cook book, so he and Kristin picked out one of the recipes to make. The boys went to a birthday party Saturday that had animals, lizards and birds. Jake raced his 65 for the first time Sunday. It was packed! His first moto had 26 kids! He was running 7th till he had a bobble in a turn on the last lap. He did very well for his first race on it and learned a lot.

Tyler got a cavity filled this week. He was nervous going in but he did pretty well. Also, Tyler, who has unusually good rhythm considering Kristin and I have none, has been doing a hip-hop class on Friday afternoons for a couple months. His class had a little performance and Tyler had the best Cha-Cha of the group. He looked like John Travolta! We got a lot of rain this week so much so that the creek behind our house, which is usually dry, has been running pretty well. The boys, Dungey and I went on a hike today to check it out. Of course, both boys and the dog came home soaking wet. Kristin went out with some friends tonight, so we wheeled the boy’s bikes into the living room to get a pic of them sitting on them watching Supercross. I sent it in and they showed it on TV during the races.

Met some friends on the trail

Jake and his team won his soccer game.

The mountains just got a bunch of snow and the boys and I had off Friday, so we went skiing. It snowed the whole day we were there and was the first time these two San Diego boys have seen falling snow. Tyler even got to build his first snow man. By the end of the day Tyler was doing really well skiing. We brought some snow home for a snowball fight the next day.

Saturday, we took the trolley downtown to the Supercross pit party at Petco Park. Jake goes to see the motorcycles and the racers; Tyler goes to see the "Motorcycle Girls"! They love him and he loves them! He even got a bunch to dance with him.

Today we went to our local track for a few hours with Jake's race buddy Mason. It was a long fun weekend so the boys relaxed in our Jacuzzi tub and Mommy brought home a HUGE pizza for dinner.

No one in the house was thrilled to head back to school and work this week. 😩

Every Wednesday is Library Day for Tyler's kindergarten class. He checks out a book for us to read at home together. This week's pick was "California Indians Fact Cards"? And there is not a single picture in it! He listened very intently as Kristin read him some of it. The best part was listening to Kristin try to say the Indian tribe names.

Took the boys riding yesterday at our local track. Jake is continually improving on his 65. Tyler was hauling butt too. He's learning to stand up going over the jumps and even getting a little air. Won't be long before he is ready for the big 50!
