The Ames boys stayed with us over the weekend. All the boys had a blast at the skate park, swimming and today Jake and Nolan raced while Tyler and Jarrett got some riding in.

Tyler got a birthday present early, new riding gear

Enjoying summer, scootering at the skate park and swimming with friends. This weekend the boys had a sleepover at their friend’s house for a birthday party. They had a blast… swimming, bouncing on the trampoline, playing games and watching movies outside from the hot tub. Sunday, Kristin and I went over and us Dad’s took the kids out on their sailboat in the bay to play on the beach and get pulled on the tube, followed by a Father’s Day BBQ back at their house. Everyone is moving slow Monday morning!

Both boys are finished with school and summer has begun. Took the boys to “Mini night” at State Fair motocross raceway Thursday night. Jake had his first race there since things have opened back up on Sunday. He did great and got 2^nd in one of his classes, which was lucky since his mechanic forgot to fill his gas tank and his bike died 50ft after the finish line on a moto he won. Other than that, a couple trips to the skate park on the scooters and building some Lego’s.

Jake finished his last week of school and Tyler has 4 more days. Low key weekend hanging out at home.
