I forgot to mention last week that Jake took a spill on his bicycle. He slipped while jumping off a curb and got a nice bit of road rash on his knee. Its healing nicely now but we have been dealing with putting Neosporin on it and bandaging him up every day this week. Of course he has been playing the sympathy card as much as he can.

Jake had T-ball on Saturday. It was breezy enough to take the boys to fly their kite afterwards. Jake's best friend at school Kyle and his family, who also happen to be neighbors, came over for dinner on Saturday night. Sunday Jake and I went riding at the track.

Back from a week in Maryland for work. My trip to Florida this week got thankfully canceled, so I'll be home till at least the end of May. Jake had a T-Ball game Saturday and was awarded the game ball. He fielded a ball, ran and beat the runner to second base to get a forced out. Outs very rarely happen in T-ball and for him to know he could get someone out at second without being told is pretty good compared to most of the kids in his league.

The boys had a very good Easter. The Easter Bunny came this morning and loaded the boys up with candy, toys, motorcycles models of their favorite riders and Jake got a set of KTM pajamas he really wanted. We had a nice Easter dinner at the Ceglies. The weather was great and the kids went for a dip in the pool.

We had a great visit with Grandma Sharon, Grandpa & Grandma Warfield and Uncle Richard last week. Jake was off for spring break and I took a couple days off. Tyler insisted on sleeping with Uncle Richard and was pretty sad to lose his bed buddy when they went back. I’m back in Patuxent River this week for work. I’ll be flying back home Friday.

I'm back after a couple weeks away on a work trip. It's great to be home! Today Jake had another motorcycle race and he came in 1st place in his class. It was a nail biter with another kid and him trading 1st and 2nd throughout the last moto but Jake persevered. The trophy he won is almost as big as he is. Also he moved up to the point leader in his class for this race series. It was so fun to watch him race and he is way into it. He sleeps with his KTM ball cap on and every library book he's checked out for the last two months is a book on motorcycles. But the best thing is Kirstin! She is way into it as well. She reminds us Supercross is on TV and wants to watch it almost more than we do. How did I get so lucky to get such a great wife?
