I went on a guys mountain bike trip Friday/Saturday. Kristin took the boys out for sushi and ice cream. Today both boys had a motorcycle race. Tyler's first! Going fast isn't Ty's thing......yet, but he had fun and looks cute doing it, which is the most important part. Going fast is definitely Jake's thing. He added another first place plaque to his collection. He thought his brother should get a trophy, so Jake gave his to Tyler.

So tired from racing couldn't even make it to his bed.

Swimming lessons are going great for Tyler. He is officially done with arm floaties. Rainy this weekend but we need it. Still managed to get to the track Saturday morning to gets some laps in. Tyler's first time at the local track. There are some tricky hills so I've been hesitant to take him there until he got a little more comfortable. He did awesome! There is a race there next weekend and he wants to do it so we'll see!

We officially have a 5 year old in our house. Tyler's birthday was Tuesday. We celebrated by going to Red Robin for dinner and he got his big boy bunk bed. So now he and Jake take turns sleeping in each other's room.

We camped out in the backyard Friday. Jake had a race today. Not to many other kids were there so it was more of a practice. I told him that when all the other kids found out he was racing today, they stayed home because they were afraid to race him.

Happy Independence Day!
We had a great weekend. Took Jake to meet up with his buddy Maddox to go surfing early Friday morning. We had Tyler's 5th birthday party Friday afternoon. Perfect day for playing in the water with friends to celebrate. We started the 4th with a neighborhood parade followed by a pool party at the neighbors and sparklers at night. Today we went flying around San Diego for Ty's birthday.
