Happy Memorial Day!

Jake and Kristin went on a date to dinner and the school dance on Friday. Tyler and I did the park. Jake had back to back races Sunday afternoon and Monday morning at Perris so we stayed the night in a hotel near the track. He had a blast hanging with his race buddy Mason and they even had a "hotel sleep over". Jake did great racing. The track changed and there is a big double that he got up the courage to jump. He crashed on it late Sunday but came back and did it on Monday. It takes a lot of guts to come back and face something that you are afraid of. I'm so proud of him for not quitting.  They had a nice memorial service and all the racers rode a parade lap with flags on their helmets. While we were racing Kristin took Tyler on a date to dinner and bowling. Tyler got a strike on his first throw (with bumpers).

 We had to keep the dirt bike in our hotel room. Jake obviously thought that was pretty cool.

We all went to a Padres game on Thursday. Tyler mostly just enjoyed the food but Jake is starting to find interest especially now that he is playing real baseball. It's good for him to see that even the pro's strike-out quite often.

The boys are excited that summertime is almost here! They took Presley out for sushi Friday for her birthday. Saturday Ty played T-ball and Jake raced. He had a few spills in practice but did pretty well bouncing back. He and his friend Mason did the buddy race. It's a relay race with one bike, they each alternate racing for 4 laps and on the 5th lap they rode double. It was all for fun so Jake did very well taking it easy with his buddy on the back. They had fun and it was cute to watch.

Happy Mother's Day

    We had a nice day with Kristin. We had lunch at Red Robin and then went to a winery with friends. The boys ran and played ball. Afterwards we had friends over for a BBQ. The weekend's go by too fast! 

Survived a week with Mommy gone and sure glad to have her back! Thank you to Maria and Shanna for helping get the boys to school while she was gone. We are blesses with great friends.

Tyler had a great week with tee ball and it's awesome to see him and his team start to figure out the game. He got three outs in one inning playing first base, which is probably a tee ball record!

Jake went to a friend's birthday party at a go-cart track and he put his racing skills to work. He obviously loved it and can't wait to go back.

Other than baseball we had a much needed relaxing weekend!
