Hard to believe summer is almost over. The boys only have
two more weeks until school starts. Saturday morning the boys met some friends
at Pala racetrack to do some practice riding. Tyler is actually starting to
show a little more speed. Saturday evening we went to one my new co-workers for
a bbq. Jake met his reading goals for July so he got to met his buddy Maddox
for sushi and Chuck-E-Cheese. Tyler was on a roll winning tickets. He alone won
more than Jake and Maddox combined.

Just enjoying the last few weeks summer. Tyler went bowling
at a friend's birthday party this week. The boys started karate this week. They really like
their gee outfits. It's a little more work than Ty thought it would be,
but I think he will get used to it. Jake raced this week. It was a hot one but it
went into night which was cool to race under the lights. We had a slight mechanical problem, luckily he was able to borrow his buddy Mason's spare bike to race on.

Tyler is officially 6. We celebrated his day with dinner at
Red Robin and then birthday donuts and presents at our house with friends. He
got a pretty fun pie in the face game and he and Jake both got r/c cars. Another fun summer weekend of swimming and
hanging out with friends. On a sad note our cat Tabby passed away. She had a great long
life and was pretty healthy up until last week. The boys are pretty sad
since the last past few months she was actually letting them pet
her. Maybe she knew her time was coming soon and she was making a last ditch
effort to get into heaven.

Happy 4th of July
We had an awesome weekend of swimming and hanging out with
friends. We had Tyler's birthday party at the local pool. We rented an inflatable
that the kids could play on in the water. Jake loved the high dive and Tyler surprised
us by wanting to do it a few times too. We started off the 4th with a parade
around the neighborhood then spent that day swimming and bbq'ing with friends
and neighbors. Tonight we rode our bikes to the high school to watch fireworks.
When we got home the boys were asleep as soon as their heads hit their pillows.
