We have been having a great time with Great Grandpa during his visit. He just blended right in with all our activities. Walking the dog, going to soccer games, helping with homework, going to friend’s birthday parties and watching the boys ride/race motorcycles. The boys have been showing him around our little town too. We took him to old Poway Park to ride the old train and check out the farmers market. We also took him to Lake Poway.  

We had a fun family weekend riding and camping at Pala with our friends the Owens. Jake had a race on Saturday and got 1st and 2nd place in his two classes. Tyler found a new riding buddy... Mommy! Tyler was showing Kristin how to zip around the track and told her to "Pin it Mommy!" Even Dungey came. He wasn't sleeping on the dog bed we got him so he slept with Jake and later figured out how to jump up to the elevator bed Kristin and I were on. We are all going to sleep good tonight!

We are getting back into the groove after the holidays and time off from school and work. I had to make a sad visit to Maryland for my grandmother's funeral. She was an amazing lady and will be terribly missed.

The boys have been keeping busy and having allot of fun going to the movies and to the trampoline park. They both have been doing great in soccer. Tyler scored his first goal and his surprised reaction was priceless! Jake did very well at his first race of the year.

Tyler finished his Lego pirate ship he got for Christmas. He pretty much did it all himself, I just helped him find the right pieces. 

The holidays have gone by to fast! We did do a lot over the past few days. Jake went to a Nerf gun birthday party for one of his classmates. We went back to the go kart track and took Kristin this time. We celebrated Kristin's birthday and we had a New Year's party at our house with neighbors and friends.
