We shifted from Christmas to birthday mode and now we have a 12-year-old in the house. Jake took Tyler and some buddies to race go-carts, and then back to our house for pizza, cake and ice cream. Jake's racing buddy Mason stayed for a sleepover. Grandma Gretchen headed back to Idaho, we had a great visit with her. We went and saw the new Star Wars movie Friday, it was awesome. Took Jake mountain biking today on his new bike. He loves it! We are headed to the desert tomorrow to camp and ride with friends.

We had a great Christmas. Santa was good to the boys again. Jake got a full suspension mountain bike and Tyler got a Nintendo Switch with a virtual reality headset.

Getting close to Christmas! Grandma Gretchen is here and we are ready. We went ice skating Saturday. Both boys picked it up quick and had fun. Sunday the boys met their friends for some riding at our local track. Thank you to Grandma for watching the boys Sunday night so Kristin and I could have a date night. It was raining today so went to the Science museum in Balboa Park.

Saturday, the boys met Mason to do some riding at the local track. Then we stopped at Poway park to check out the Christmas festival, before we went to a friend’s Christmas party to spend the night. The boy’s friends, Nolan and Jarret, where there. The boys spent most of the night in the hot tub. 

PaPa George sent the boys some real teeth from a bear he got.

It was rainy all weekend so we didn’t do much. Plus, Tyler and I have a little bit of a cold, so we just took it easy. Jake was supposed to have a race but it got rained out, thankfully. Thanks again to Tony for watching the boys last week when both Kristin and I had to travel for work. Kristin is off again this week.

Happy Thanksgiving

  The boys had a nice week off school and we are all setup for Christmas. The boys went to see Santa today and Clyde the elf is back. Both Kristin and I have to travel for work this week and a friend is going to help watch the boys Monday night.
