Awesome trip to Idaho to stay at the lake with the cousins and Grandma Gretchen. Paw Paw George also flew out from Maryland to be with us. Had loads of fun; fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, boating, wake surfing, riding wave runners and we even celebrated Tylers birthday a little early.

Had a great weekend and Father’s Day! It was boys first week off of school on summer break. Tyler went to soccer camp in the mornings and had a great time. Jake started football camp. He said he has never been worked so hard and half of his teammates were throwing up in the trash can by the field. He is enjoying the challenge and has a great attitude. Jake and I went camping and racing over the weekend. Jake did great and even I got my first dirt bike race trophy (not many people in the old/slow man class 😊). Tyler and Kristin hung out together and had a great steak dinner and brownies for us when we got home.

Extremely busy week! Started off Monday with a movie that Tyler and the 5^th grade made from a book they read in school. Tyler did a great job playing the part of doctor and had some funny outtakes. Jake had a school field trip to the Beach and Belmont Park on Tuesday. Wednesday morning Tyler had his promotion ceremony from elementary school and that evening Jake had his from middle school. I took the boys to the San Diego Fair on Friday. Saturday, Jake raced and Tyler went to friend’s pool party! Summer has officially begun!

Our local motorcycle shop is sponsoring Jake.

Winding down the school year. Tyler had his 5^th grade band concert last week. He did great but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t happy to be finished with his saxophone practice at home 😊. I met him at school for donuts with Dad on Friday. Jake had a soccer tournament over the weekend. They lost, but Jake has really improved since last year.
