Tyler’s rugby team dominated again this weekend. He was going to miss so we could all go desert camping over the weekend, but we changed plans a little so he could go. He and Kristin met us out in the desert after his match. His coach told us that he has so happy Tyler could make it because of his leadership on the field. He was also featured on their league post, which was really cool. They have playoffs this Saturday. We had a good time camping/riding with friends. Jake went with some buddies to a hockey game Sunday night. The boys have off this week, so I took them skiing on Tuesday. We brough some snow home to have a snowball fight in the front yard. Jake had his wisdom teeth pulled Wednesday and was really funny coming off anesthesia. He gave the cute dental assistant girl a hug as he was leaving, LOL!

Lots of stuff to catch up on. Jake started taking a sign language class at community college for his high school language class requirement. He also had a pretty good crash when he got sucked off his bike into his buddy’s wheel at a race last weekend. Luckily, he just got scrapped up a bit. Tyler’s rugby team has been absolutely dominating and remains undefeated. He has really stepped up and helps lead his team. Jake raced a qualifier race for a big regional race at Mammoth this summer. His starts were awesome. He qualified for one class and just missed the other class by one spot with completely full and stacked gates.

Fun "sledding" behind his buddy's truck

Another weekend of rugby and racing. Tyler’s team is undefeated so far this season. Jake went to Supercross with some buddies, then raced the next day. Hopefully we all are over our colds for the year.

Tyler got his first “Try” (goal) in rugby on Saturday. He was pretty pumped!! The boys and I went riding together on Sunday. Took some pictures to blow up into posters for their rooms. Jake helped Tyler get over a pretty nice jump, which was also really pumped for!!

Christmas break is sadly over. Tyler’s rugby team had a scrimmage on Saturday. They look pretty good and should have a great season. Jake had his first race of 2025 on Sunday. Packed gates! 38 racers in one of his classes.

Hard to believe Jake is 17! We went out to the desert on his birthday and camped/rode with friends for a few days. Then back in time for Mom’s birthday and New Years. Low key New Years for us, had a couple friends over, we did not make it to midnight. Jake went to a friend’s house with other friends from school.
