Jake was also recognized with the Coach's Award at his football banquet. It was an amazing 4 years of high school football and we are extremely proud of him. Tyler’s rugby team had a fund raiser at a local car wash. We met up with some friends for a holiday dinner and Jake is hanging out with a friend from his old school.

Ready for Christmas

Great weekend. Tyler had a Rugby scrimmage and team social Saturday. Jake had his motocross awards banquet at the Fox company headquarters up in Irvine. Because we couldn’t be both places, Tyler got to order his first short Uber on his own, which he said was fun. Jake had his last race of the year and placed 1st for the series in both his classes.

Boys are doing great! Tyler is kicking butt in Spanish and having fun with Rugby practice. We camped this weekend at the racetrack. Tyler and I got some riding in, and Jake raced his last race with Moto4kids as he ages out next month when he turns 18. He has raced with them since he was 13. Time flies

Turns out Tyler is pretty good at poker!

Boys being boys

Life is awesome! Tyler got straight A’s his first trimester of high school, including Spanish 3!! Then he received the "Coaches Award" at his football banquet. He was one of only a few of his teammates to be specially recognized. His was for his consistent hard work and positive attitude. He has also started Rugby practice for the upcoming season and is doing a great job helping his teammates who are new to Rugby. We are incredibly proud of him!!!

Jake’s team won their first game in the playoff rounds but lost the second in a close game against the #1 seeded team. His last two games of football were all that we could ever hope for. He started, made lots of tackles, caught two kickoffs and recovered an opponent fumble to try and rally his team in the last half of what ended up being his final game. Both games were very close and fun to be a part of. We are extremely proud of the man that he has become, and football had a big part in shaping him.
