Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. I especially want to thank Kristin and the boys for the fun birthday weekend. We celebrated my birthday on Friday by going to Red Robin for dinner and then had the Ceglies over for cake and ice cream afterwards. We had a party on Saturday with a lot of old friends and pretty much half the neighborhood. Sunday the boys went to anther birthday pool party at their friend Ellie's.

Kristin gave the boys a bath Sunday evening and told them to go into their rooms and get their pj's on. This is where or should I say how she found Tyler. Sign of a fun weekend!

Jake and Tyler started school last Wednesday. They both like their teachers. Tyler is pretty excited about going to "big boy" school. They enjoyed the last little bit of summer on Monday and Tuesday. Kristin took them to the beach and swimming at friends. Saturday we did the kids workshop at Lowes and hit the skate park afterwards. Jake had a race today and we cooled off in the pool afterwards.

The last week of summer. The boys go back to school Wednesday. Jake goes into 2nd grade and Tyler was able to get a spot in transitional kindergarten. We decided to give Tyler another year before he starts regular kindergarten. He was old enough and definitely smart enough, but he likes to be the class clown so we thought he could use another year to mature a little more. He barely made it through ESS this summer. He pulled the fire alarm last week and fire trucks actually came to the school! They definitely broke the mold with Tyler!

It was really hot this weekend so we spent as much time as we could in the water. Went to the beach on Friday, then swam at our house and the neighbors over the weekend.  

 

 

 

 

 

Tyler had his 3rd trip to Urgent Care. He crashed on his bicycle on the sidewalk and busted his chin open needing 5 stitches. Of course it was on Daddies watch... again. He was pretty good on the Dr. table until they had to hold his head and arms down to sew him up and that he did not like. He is doing well now and we get his stitches out tomorrow.

We tried the Lowes kids workshop on Saturday. We had neighborhood friends over Saturday evening. Took Jake to ride his bike at the skate park today and then we did a few laps on the electric dirt bikes this evening.

Just enjoying summer! Went to the beach for my Friday off with the Ceglie girls and met another friend also named Jake there. Spent the rest of the weekend riding bikes, swimming and playing with friends.

 Tyler surprised me at the Skate park. That's a pretty big drop into the bowl and he just rolled right in!

Tyler is definitely getting more confident on his bike.
